Cookies and Trackers Policy — Getstockage
What getstockage.com stores (or doesn’t store) on your device, and how to stay in control.

1. In short
- The getstockage.com website sets no cookies for analytics, advertising or social networks, and does not use the browser's local storage.
- The Getstockage app contains no advertising trackers and no audience measurement tools. It uses only what it needs to work, and Sentry for crash reports.
- This is why no consent banner is shown today.

2. What is a cookie or tracker?
A cookie or tracker is information stored on or read from your device (computer, phone) when you visit a website or use an app: a cookie, the browser's local storage, a device identifier, an SDK… French law requires your consent before they are used, unless they are strictly necessary for the service you ask for (article 82 of the French Data Protection Act).
3. The getstockage.com website
Cookies and local storage. The website sets no cookies and uses neither localStorage nor sessionStorage. The language is given by the page address (French at the root, English under /en/) and is not remembered on your device. [TO VERIFY before publication: no technical cookie set by the host or a caching service, checked in the browser's developer tools.]
Google Fonts. The website loads its fonts (Inter and Jost) from Google's servers (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). To display the page, your browser therefore sends Google your IP address and technical information (browser, referring page). Google may process this data outside the European Union. [RECOMMENDATION: host the fonts on the website's own server, which removes this request to Google. Once done, remove this paragraph.]
Server logs. Our host, Hostinger International Ltd, records technical logs (IP address, date, page requested, browser) for security and to keep the website running. [TO CONFIRM: retention period at Hostinger.]
Links to social networks and e-mail. The Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X (Twitter) icons are plain links: nothing from these networks is loaded unless you click. The same applies to e-mail links.
4. The mobile app

The app does not use the device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, Android advertising ID) and does not track you across other apps or websites.
5. If we add an audience measurement tool
If we ever add an audience measurement or advertising tool, or third-party content (video, map, widget), to the website or the app:
- this policy will be updated before it is added;
- unless an exemption applies, a consent banner will be shown, in line with the CNIL's guidelines and recommendation on cookies and other trackers: no non-essential tracker before you agree, refusing as easy as accepting, and a choice you can change at any time;
- some audience measurement tools may be exempt from consent if they strictly meet the CNIL's conditions (anonymous statistics, limited purpose, limited lifetime) [TO BE VALIDATED: current conditions when the tool is chosen].
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can delete cookies or block third-party requests at any time in your browser settings. In the app, you can withdraw permissions (notifications, location) in your phone settings.
