Getstockage is a French peer-to-peer storage marketplace. We connect people who have unused space (a garage, cellar, lock-up, loft or parking space) with neighbours who need room, all from a mobile app.

Our mission
Turn every unused square metre into a solution for someone else. A garage used as a junk room, a half-empty cellar, a parking space freed up after selling a car: these spaces already exist, close to you. Renting them between individuals lets one person earn an income and the other store their things for around half the price of self-storage, without crossing town.
Why we started Getstockage
Homes are getting smaller, and moves, renovations, internships or break-ups create short-term needs for space. Meanwhile, many spaces sit empty for much of the year. The options in between are often expensive, far away or awkward: long contracts, extra fees, cash handed to a stranger found through a classified ad.
The Getstockage team wanted a setting that reassures both sides: verified identities, secure payments, clear cancellation rules and an included guarantee.

Hosts list their space
Photos, size, price and access rules, in a guided 8-step listing. Listing is free.

Renters search nearby
By city, space type, size, price and amenities, on a map or as a list.

They chat and book
Built-in messaging, booking and payment in the app. Hosts accept or decline each request.

The rental runs monthly
Monthly charge, automatic payout to the host, and 15 days’ notice to end.
App first
Getstockage is designed for your phone, because storage happens on the ground: you photograph a space, meet your host outside the building, check an access code. The native iOS and Android app brings everything together: map search, messaging, booking, payment through Stripe, drop-off photos, notifications and earnings tracking for hosts. This website is here to inform you, for example with our pricing page; bookings happen in the app.
Our values
- Transparency: no service fee for renters, a host commission shown before publishing, and a pricing page that covers everything, cancellations included.
- Trust: verified identity for every host and renter, in-app payments, two-way reviews and the Getstockage Guarantee up to €500 (€100 excess) included.
- Proximity: a space a few minutes from home rather than on the edge of town.
- Fairness: the same rules for everyone. When a renter cancels late, the 7 days of rent go to the host, not to Getstockage.
Where we are
Getstockage is launching in France, in French first, with an English version for people living in France. During the launch, hosts pay no commission until 31 March 2027.
